In listening to this, he mentions at one point how Jesus's 40 days of fasting in the desert reflects the 40 days that Moses was on the mountain and the 40 years that the Jews wandered the wilderness with Moses. He also forgot the 40 weeks of pregnancy. Once you begin to see the connections in the Bible, more start to jump out, but it's also fun to search for them.
God is the greatest storyteller! All the prefigurements in the OT are what we in the modern world refer to as "Chekov's gun" were technques created by God. Start searching and you'll be amazed and awakened to why the Catholic church's teachings are the fullest truth.
